Outpatient services are available in Lee, Russell, Chambers, and Tallapoosa Counties. Our therapists, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians provide a full range of services including, but not limited to individual and group therapy, medication management, and crisis intervention. Family & Children's Services
East Alabama Mental Health Center offers a wide range of services for children and adolescents, as well as their families, who are experiencing serious emotional disturbances. Services include outpatient counseling, medication assessment and monitoring, case management, mental health consultation, and specialized programs for unique populations. We provide services at locations in Alexander City, Dadeville, Opelika, Phenix City, and Valley.

Day Services
Day services are individually designed to provide recovery services to those with a serious persistent mental illness. Our staff help individuals to achieve their personal life goals, reclaim self worth, increase stability, and improve relationships. Day services are offered at locations in Opelika and Phenix City.

Residential Services
The Center’s residential homes are community-based programs providing social, supportive, and rehabilitative services designed to assist in stabilizing an individual’s serious mental illness while increasing independent living skills in a home like atmosphere.
Inpatient Crisis Stabilization
The Center’s Inpatient Crisis Stabilization program provides short-term intensive inpatient treatment for individuals with serious mental illnesses. Services are focused on crisis stabilization and symptom management and reduction. Admissions are both voluntary and involuntary (court ordered). Upon discharge, individuals are referred for appropriate follow-up treatment.

Outreach
Outreach serves as the centralized point of access for center services. Outreach coordinates new requests, readmissions, emergency and crisis services. Outreach also provides assistance with information and referral requests. Outreach and Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by calling (800) 815-0630 or (334) 742-2877.
